Windy Day in Napa meant there were so many leaves to collect and throw. Maddie had a blast.

Maddie and Soccer

Soccer season is over, and while I realize I will be spending most Saturday's at the soccer field for the next few years I am not sure Maddie totally gets the game. She likes playing with her friends and kicking the ball, but many times she and a team mate will simply gossip on the field. Its worst if the opposing team has a friend from preschool on it--then its just gab fest, forget about running after the ball.

Second Week...

Off to a good start. Chloe and Maddie ran up to school this morning, ready to be full day Kindergarteners.

First Day of Kindergarten

Maddie walked right up to school, shook Mrs. Wargo's (head of school) hand, and went right into her classroom. She was excited, but deemed her uniform itchy, her socks too tall, but generally loved the first day. She is going to take a school bus next week, and decided today that she was ready for it!

This is Maddie's first self portrait. She was sitting in the car for a very long time on our 7 hr ride from Santa Barbara and playing with my iphone--camera. She loves to play with the phone feature, and is getting really good a composing shots.

Tahoe Slide Show

Tahoe was fun when we finally got there.  The girls could not believe how much snow there was!  6 feet at the top of squaw by the end of the storm, so it made for epic skiing!

Chabot Space Museum

Maddie and Lindsey are obsessed w building rocket ships and pretending to go to the moon and mars, so we went to learn all about it at the space museum in Oakland today. Here is a photo of Maddie pretending to be weightless...

New Dress UP!

Aunt Lynne got the girls ADORABLE new pink princess dresses for Xmas, and they have been hits ever since.
