Santa Claus came early---and Maddie sure does love those stick on bows...just like Daddy and Pop Pop Jones.

Whatever could it be?
Maddie was so cute every time she opened a package she would look with wonder--is this for me? Is there something inside? By the end she had gotten into gifts and was shouting More--More!!!

While we are still not certain its a boy or a girl--the sonogram technician thinks its a girl, but advised to hold off on buying anything...at least we have a friendly little one. I just love that he/she is waving hello at 12 weeks! 

Where Mom and Dad failed--Violeta succeeds...
As previously posted Maddie hated Santa when Mom and Dad visited with her, but Violeta got her to sit with him--although its still unclear if she loved it!
 

HOUSE!! HOUSE!!!
Maddie is officially obsessed with gingerbread houses. We made one at Santa Fest, and she liked it, but when Tia brought this one over she was soooo excited. With a little creative input from Mom and Tia Maddie did a wonderful job decorating her holiday chalet!

 

I loved throwing these little candies ALL OVER mommy's kitchen...but at least I also like playing with the dustbuster, so I helped clean up too....

Maddie loves to push the cookie cutters, but her skills at removing the Gingerbread men were a little weak, we ended up with amputees... 

Off to the Reindeer Romp--Maddie Mommy and Pop Pop went to the SF Zoo to see the visiting Reindeer. Maddie loves the zoo so much, as we pulled onto Sloat Boulevard she started yelling "zooooo" "zooooo". She knew she would get to ride the choo choo and the carousel, and maybe even see some animals. 

We rode the little puffer train and went through a tunnel (or nunnel in Maddie speak)

This is as close as Maddie would get to Santa...she really doesn't like the big guy with the beard. So far we have tried two different Santas! 

Natalie and Alison making a gingerbread house...Natalie thought elmer's glue would be better than frosting to put her candies on the house! Smart girl.
