I love swimming with Daddy!!!

Since baby Lindsey still doesn't want to join my family, mommy, daddy and I hit the road out of the fog of SF and to the sunshiny Peninsula for a day of BBQ and pool time...I sure did have fun! Unka Greg's new pinwheel floatie is a blast!

I stole a Bagel
Maddie looking a little too guilty on father's day last weekend. She managed to have several bagels and WAY too many donut holes. But she sure makes everyone smile.

She clearly loves the paint. Thank goodness mom still shops at Old Navy and Kmart because by the end of the day she was covered in paint from head to toe, and had even painted her arms and legs a lovely shade of green!
All payback to her slightly OCD mom I guess.... 

Little School Summer School Starts Today!

Maddie officially entered the preschool years today--starting a twice a week program at Little School near our house. She didn't want to leave orientation on Monday (she stayed over an hour when she was supposed to be there for 1/2 hour, and had to be hauled out of the school and bribed with Starbucks to even leave...)
They have tons of fun new toys to play with and stack and investigate. The first day went well with Mommy and Violetta on standby to make sure she liked it, but she really didn't even care that we were there...new friends, new teachers, and new toys kept her excited.

Snack Time
Maddie was so entranced she ate apple skin, which she normally spits out, and is getting used to the idea that she has to sit for all of snack time...rather than wander around like Mommy and Daddy let her...new rules will have to take hold at home for dinner time!

 

Teacher Todd explains all the fun food items the kitchen holds. Todd has been with Little School for 17 years, and his own son, Zev is one of the teaching assistants...

No Baby Today

Maddie didn't get to be a big sister today--after many hours at the hospital Lindsey decided to stay in mommy's tummy for another few days. We may have a baby any time, but its looking like Lindsey might want to keep her original due date of June 25th!

Her favorite thing to do these days on trips back and forth to Napa is stop at Taylor's and run around with the other kids on the back lawn. Not sure if blogger supports video, but this was a quick conversation we had a few weekends ago....

We spent Saturday morning playing ballerina and princess tea party. Maddie certainly had fun dancing around in her tutu!

 

Maddie is enjoying pop-pop's hat from the 2006 Wine Auction! Thankfully mommy made it through without delivering Lindsey, and the Jones Family Vineyards Barrel did very well at the auction raising over $28,000 for Napa charities...
