We could only get a few kids to sit still for the photo...the ones who really can't move yet, (spencer and paul) and Maddie who clearly is a clown for the camera. Despite the 3 kids in the photos we actually had: Theo the Dalmation, Helena the Princess, Taylor the Cow, Maddie the Cowgirl, Luke the Cowboy, Wyatt the Fireman, Spencer the Pumpkin, Paul the Kangaroo, Natalie the Bunny Rabbit, Maddie the Fish, and Supergirl Hannah and Teddy the Whale.

The Words Keep Coming!

All of a sudden talking has clicked for Maddie--she has put a few words together for a sentence--"Maddie want ball" "Milk Please" but even more amazing is just howshe figures the words out. Friday we went through the Rainbow Tunnel on the way to Napa, and all of a sudden Maddie was saying "unnel." I had said Tunnel in past trips, but for some reason this time it all clicked together...she has so many funny words, and is getting insistent if you don't understand. Today we spend 10 minutes trying to figure out what "Dosht" was. Finally she brought me into the kitchen, pulled herself into her high chair and it dawned on me that "Dosht" was "Toast"

Mommy and Maddie at the Napa Pumpkin Patch

 

Off to the Stanly Lane Pumpkin Patch in Napa this weekend, Maddie and daddy picked out pumpkins, loaded them in the wheelbarrow and carted them home...it pays to shop for pumpkins in the country, 3 huge pumpkins and 3 little ones for $30--a lot less than Dan and Steph paid a few years ago in Marin! 

Maddie and Helena Frey went to Central Park in San Mateo

They saw the Koi fish in the pond, and played on the swings. It sure seemed like a nicer park than when Mommy and Auntie Alli hung out there as kids.... 

Juliette Calderon, Maddie's BFF came to visit this weekend and they visited the spooky story time at Haas Lilenthal House...both girls were ready with pumpkins, and are just so cute playing together 

ok, lets get his show on the road, we are ready for cookies, candy and anything they can put in our pumpkin purses!

Table for 2 please...Macaroni and Cheese and Turkey Meatloaf with Juliette...who could ask for more!!!

Maddie and Helena went to Central Park in San Mateo today to see the Koi fish, play in the pond and swing on the swings.... 

Madeline Heads to the Pumpkin Patch in Petaluma. They had everything--the jumpy house, the corn maze (really hard and slightly scary-I now know why all horror films have corn fields,) the hay stack and most importantly tons of pumpkins to pick and play with....

If I try really hard MAYBE I can pick this up!
